The year is official going down hill. We celebrated the 100th day of school at Brookside on Friday. That means that we only have 80 to go. Sixth grade is getting busy. The students are going to start keyboarding in a week which is both good and bad. I will get an hour and a half of prep time every day (Yeah!) but it means that I only have an hour and a half to teach my two classes everything that they need to know and get them reading for a persuasive writing test and end of year testing. I do enjoy it and sixth graders are usually fun. Teaching is stressful but very rewarding when those struggling kids finally get it.
